Hahhaha I love it, dude!

Soupcat responds:

Thanks man! lol

damn

this should've gotten first place for sure... too bad cyanide and happiness has hordes of fans. I mean... they're funny but this was way funnier than their submission today.

aasimpy responds:

hey jae - thanks! i'm a huge C&H fan, so it's an honor to even be mentioned in the same sentence.

It's pretty good!

I'd like to see where you head with this. I can't really tell if it's goofy or serious.

Kieran-s responds:

In a way its both. But I wouldnt ponder over it because it will be quite a long time before the second is finished.

neat

But LOL !!
You messed an important line up and didn't even edit it. " Dark will always conquer light, and good will always conquer evil. " A bit contridictory, eh?

ArtistGamerGal responds:

Actually he says "Dark will always SUCCOMB to light, and good will always conquer evil." Good try though. Thanks for watching!

Listen!

I loved your ability to tell an action packed story, man. I think you have a real nack for making a very "epic" looking film. A very nice action style and it works nicely.

Here's the thing. To really become great you need to now focus on raw animation. No more TWEENS unless you're using them to pan around dynamically. The way you told your story was awesome and it nearly outweighed the lazy tweens. I think this is the reason your movie did well. Imagine if you animated it more stictly, though. What you need to do is draw keyframes and throw in some dynamic poses and altered angles. Distorted depth and the works. Learn to make your perspective and poses, then animate those keys. Once that's done, inbeTWEEN them... not using TWEENS :P

I liked your storytelling abilities but I think you need to work on your animation and have more fun with that aspect.

Hope this helps, dawg.

NightShadowTWO responds:

thanks bud. i really do need to brush up on my fbf skillz. thanks for the tips!

neat

I saw this collab forming in the forum and I was eager to see what came of it! You seriously need a shorter song or something, man. There was a lot of song and a little animation. Looping the same clip will not help your score! I liked the song. If you have a collab based on only making a walk cycle, I feel like the walk cycles should all have been WAY better. Anyone who spends time working on a walk cycle should really investigate into the real mechanics of walking. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't impressive. Keep working, all of you!

Insanimation responds:

Thanks for the review. I agree that the song would have been nicer shorter, but it also fit perfectly, with both the lyrics and the timing.

Good collab!

It was a nice idea. I liked the credits the best. I wish I would have seen a lot more frame by frame pixel animation. That would've made this animation such a gem.

Good!

I thought it was pretty funny but your jokes could use a little more developing. Overall it was a nice animation but just speculate things more so your comedy progresses. I thought the animation was above average but you need to develop that more too. It was smooth but the movements need to feel more natural. Also... shouldn't she be running after the bike? In the origonal game the reason youre chasing a black guy on a bike is to train. Just biking around really doesnt make sense for training. The joke could have been way more successful and that's what killed that particular joke for me. It didnt take that much away from your animation but i wanted to point out that a joke that could have been really funny was ruined because of lack of speculation. I recommend keeping a notepad with you at all times to record potential funny things and ruling out all the bad ones. If you have a book full of crap I'm sure you can find at least one good joke, you know? I'm not suggesting that you aren't funny because this animation was very humerous and well done. Everyone can improve. Good work!

EdpR responds:

Actually that was gonna be the joke, but for some reason I changed it, and I kinda regret that :/
you're absolutely right...
Thanks for the suggestions and the review, I'm gonna follow your advice :)

Good movie!

I loved the colors. The way they all played off of eachother was awesome. Try some more frame by frame. There were some nice loops in there but also try to be more organic, too! I liked it. 5

Rutger responds:

Thanks man! Yeah, I'm probably gonna do some more fbf soon.

You remind me of LazyMuffin

I liked the animations. I recommend transitioning some dynamic poses, now. This was enjoyable to watch.

Lazyfeet responds:

Oh Jae <3

Hey, and I'll give the transitioning ago. I think your right. My characters aren't fluid enough with movement. They seem to always be in a generic standing position.

;) tah

I want to talk to you about animation. Message me. We can teach each other animation skills.
